Our Lady Peace
Hey! Just wondering...does anybody else here like Our Lady Peace? I got the chance to see them in concert last night. They were here for our annual Groovin' on the Grounds and they put on an absolutely awesome show!!! I was right there in the front row staring at their GORGEOUS lead singer Raine the entire night!!!!

Hahahahhaha, how about his gorgeous wife Chantal Kreviaskic (sp?), she is very beautiful. OLP have been one of Canada's top bands or what 7/8 years now. I didn't "like happiness is not a fish you can catch" very much, and I think they lost a lot of interest since then (up here anyways). Navee was AMAZING! By far their best piece of work (IMO), I wish they went back to that type of music.

YEAH YEAH YEAH...found out that he's married last night!!! LOL...why is it that the musicians I love (Dave...Raine) are married??? I guess I'm just gonna have to do some serious man stealing!!!!!!!! My favorite song is One Man Army. I'm not real sure why...maybe because it's the first song of theirs I heard. That's just me though. Anybody else have a favorite song of theirs?

I LOVE THEM!!! Naveed is their best song ever! But they never disappoint! I have a CD from WAAF in Boston that has a live performance of that! It rocks!

Yeah that's from their last (3rd) CD, their current new releases are "in repair" and "right behind you" on their latest CD Spiritual Machines. Their music is really deep, with all kinds of philosophical meaning. Their 3rd CD Happiness is not a fish you can catch also had "theif" and "one man army"...Their second cd Clumsy, had "automatic flowers", "superman's dead", "clumsy", "4 a.m." the songs vary you make like some that they didn't even make videos for. There's some songs like "let you down" and "carnival" I thought were better than some of the ones they made videos for.
I really didn't like the music after their second cd, their first CD was probably my favorite of any band for all-time.
Navee (first CD) in my opinion was filled with great songs. "The Birdman", "Starseed", "Julia", "Navee", to name a few.
I don't have any of the cd's on me so i can't remember all the songs. I've listened to their music since they came out because I loved their first cd. I've haven't really been into the other cd's that much.
Hope this clears a few things. They're from Toronto which is why they probably aren't that big in the states.
- Nick.

They play alternative music. I can't really think of anyone to compare them to.

I guess the best way to describe their music is...'our lady peacey.' lol. but honestly, lil_g is right, there is not a band out there i could compare them to. chock it up to more amazing canadian talent =). it's everywhere!!! .
but seriously, Naveed came out here and the band's popularity sky rocketed. they're awsome. i'd say they're along the lines of Stone Temple Pilots. You agree lil_g or am i WAY off?? I don't really think they're very alike, but if you had to set them in a genre, that's as close as you can get, i think.
