mary jane style-sneakers
I'm thinking about buying some new walking shoes, and I don't want the traditional lace-up athletic shoe... I'm seeing more and more mary-jane style sneakers... any recommendations on brands? They look very cute and something I would wear.
I've been playing around online and Keen and Ecco keep popping up, as well as Sketchers for this style. Ideas on brands to test out/stay away from? I would like something comfortable for walking that is also cute-- this style is adorable.

My sister has a few pairs she wears as her SAHM "cute but comfy and can run after a 4-and 2-year-old" shoes. I think she has at least one pair of Sketchers and maybe one from Payless. She really likes them and has no complaints about them hurting her feet.
I can't seem to find a pair that are easy to get on and comfortable, but I also have big feet and high arches.

I have several pairs of Skechers with criss-cross straps that velcro close and I swear they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They come in a few different colors - my pink ones always draw comments.

I have the black Sketchers ones. I wore them barefoot to work (restaurant... must wear closed toe shoes comfy shoes) and I had some major blisters. I did buy those little sockies that you wear with heels and it helped, but you can see the sock. With socks they are pretty comfortable.

This may be a state thing, and sure didn't stop the lady in Colchester from delievering food barefoot with a cigarette in her mouth , but I thought socks were required for waitresses?
