BID DAY SHIRTS AND SKIT HELP!!!!

Hi guys I'm new to this...

I'm membership chair for my sorority this year and I need some cute bid day shirt ideas and some skit ideas. Can anyone help me out?

One that has been done by nearly every chapter at my campus is the magazine bid day t-shirt... on the front (or back, whatever) it has what looks like a mailing label on the left or right chest area and usually has info like pledge class, sorority name and chapter, date of bid day, whatever. The other side of the shirt is the front of a magazine, with a picture of a girl and then headlines like "The new ladies of XYZ!!!". Then the bid day theme revolves around fashion/celebrities.

Even the "old" advice (which is at most from 5 years ago... LOL) is still relevant to things you can do now.

Talk to some of your chapter sisters and advisers to solicit their ideas, too.

You want to come off with a theme that your chapter members will be happy with-- sometimes a chapter member in charge of Bid Day may select something that seems cocky or mean and that can be a turn-off to some of your members. Keep it fun, keep it light and non-offensive and something that reflects your chapter.

Some past themes:

• Military: camo t-shirts and a cute saying about being All-American girls, etc.
• Flowers: We Know How to Pick 'Em
• Tiffany & Co. (IE-- tiffany blue tees with ABC Sorority and Co. Since 18XX)
• Chanel
• Mascot (something cute with your mascot)
• I wish I may, I wish I might... I got the wish I wished last night (stars and moons)
• Everyone Loves an XYZ Girl
• There's No Place Like Home (Wizard of Oz theme)
• Survivor TV show logo
• Hollywood Walk of Fame (H-wood star walk with new members names)

ETC-- hope this helps... What kind of skit do you do on Bid Day? I'm not familiar with this.

25 Pages of sorority rush t-shirt, and not one ASA shirt...although it looks like they do the same chapters over and over. They are really cute.

The UCF chapters use them all the time (and have been for years). But they're located in our neck of the woods so we can pick them up
