Spring!
My calender says it is the first day of spring.. so I wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY SPRING!
The sun is shining, and it is supposed to be in the high 80's low 90's today! I love spring!
------------------
Faced with the Divine, I was asked; "What one gift do you seek?"
I answered ever so meekly; "I seek Honor, Truth, Integrity, and Wisdom, yet those are four. How am I to choose?"
The answer came as a pounding whisper; "The four you seek are but one. I grant thee Compassion; for without it the four make none."

Today was the first day I didn't wear a coat or jacket since october. Wearing my letters with pride I dropped my essay off, and came back to crash...
btw, i gave my seat up twice on the crowded bus to an older woman and a younger woman.
Every little bit of p.r. counts

Also sorry billy, but I got chime in the weather report here in San Antonio, 71 degrees right now. In the 80's by tomorrow. The best part of the south...The grass never turns brown, and the leaves are on most of the trees year 'round. AND, the Bluebonnets are beginning to bloom. You havent lived till you've seen the bluebonnets in bloom:

Or, I might add... you haven't lived until you've smelled orange trees, jasmine and freesia blooming with an ocean breeze--truly the best scents on the planet! I love LA in the Spring!

MIGHT I ADD...you haven't lived until you've seen the buds of fresh leaves on the trees...or walk home after work or school one afternoon and relaize the previously pathetically barren trees are now ripe with leaves and cherry blossoms.
And there is that one day, that first day, when you can walk out side in the sunny warm air, in a T-SHIRT!!!!, for the first time since september. It is the most liberating feeling in the world. There is much to be said for the heightened apreciation we northern folk have of good weather .
P.S. I'll let you know when said weather arrives!

I must disagree, us warm weather folks appreciate good weather... after all to our thinned out blood 55 is COLD. Yes, I know, you're all laughing, but its true. We break out parkas when its 55 out. I felt SO GOOD last night walking home at 7pm in a tank top with it warm and smelling like spring.

I gotta but my two cents in. I'm orginally for Michigan, but now I live in Louisiana. So having grown up in snow, I have to say that I really appericate Louisiana's variation on the two seasons we have (hot and cold, hot and hotter, hot and rainy,or cold and rainy)

It's almost spring here. We are now permitted to peel off one of the umpteen layers we must drown ourselves in over the winter. It's above zero today. Think I'll take a walk and enjoy the balmy air. I can still see my breath, yes...but I don't need a toque anymore (a.k.a. hat), so that's a start right??? I'm just waiting for the double digits to hit. That's when I'll know it's spring .

Well on this side of Canada the weather has been grrrreeaattt so far. I hope I don't jinx it now. I've been able to wear tshirts and sandals outside for a few weeks now, on and off though. The weather in Vancouver can be very annoying sometimes. We have already hit the double digits. Today is really warm and sunny, and I have just come inside (Iwas working on my tan a wee bit ). But yesterday it was cold and pouring with rain. It is so nice to see blossoms on the trees and the snow melting away on the mountains.

I know I should feel lucky to live where I live (where it's sunny 80% of the year), but sometimes I wish I could live in a place where I could see seasons come and go.
The first day of spring brought cold weather (65-70, LOL) and rain. I love this time of year!

Ah yes, the Vernal Equinox. Of course, here in St. Louis, it can be 60 degrees one day and then 25 degrees and snowing the next. Hopefully that won't happen though.
