Pirate Master
So I watched it...it was a little interesting when they went on the expedition to find the buried treasure, but the participants are a little flat. John was a weirdo, so I was glad to see him gone...buh bye, now!
Louie reminded me of Rupert from SURVIVOR, but I guess if it's a pirate themed show, you need someone who looks pirate'esque.
Sadly, the ship that they are on, the "Picton Castle", was the scene of a tragedy in December 2006. "Laura Gainey, 25, ( daughter of Montreal Canadiens' GM Bob Gainey) was swept overboard by a wave off the deck of the Picton Castle, the tall ship on which she was working last December. A three-day search in the Atlantic Ocean, about 700 kilometres off the coast of Cape Cod, proved fruitless."

I watched it. It would have been so much better if they had walked the plank instead of being "cut adrift." But that would require them to do a daytime "pirate's court" and obviously that's not dramatic enough for the show's producers.

Well, Mark Burnett does produce both of them so it figures that there would be a lot of similarities.
The show is simply awful!

Sad -- of all the crazies on the show, she was pretty normal.

I remember when they killed off that "job interview from hell" show too (I think it was called "My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss")...wikipedia says this:
"This episode reveals the real boss to be a monkey (Mowgli) who would decide the winning contestant by spinning a wheel with the contestants names written on portions of the wheel."

Shoot, they showed all the episodes of "Bachelorettes in Alaska", which was arguably worse that "Pirate Master".
