Islam in the organization

Peace to all those in this lovely forum.
I was just wondering if religion (mainly Islam) plays a role in the org for bad or good? If someone is not of Christian faith and most of the org's activities are centered in the church, would this take away from their potential membership in a grad chapter, for instance? Have any of you known it to?

I found at least 4 threads concerning something similar. Please search, read the Pearls of Wisdom, etc etc etc etc.
