Honoring a Humble Hero

"(Jill) Wagstaff was recognized by a national program called "Heroes In Our Midst" for her dedication to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Florida.

For the past seven years, Wagstaff has filled the role of Big Sister to 16-year-old Talorean "Tori" Potter, now a freshman at P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School.

In a ceremony at the Sigma Kappa sorority house, where Wagstaff serves as chapter adviser, Tori said, "I'm proud to call you my Big Sister. All my friends hear about you and the things we do together."

The pair's close relationship began almost on a whim when Wagstaff was a student at the University of Florida and a member of Sigma Kappa sorority..."

Ooh that's my advisor! I'm writing an article on her for the Triange, so hopefully it gets published!
She's awesome! I don't know how she does it all with four children! She's very active in my chapter.

Cool. No one replied to the thread so I didn't know if I should post more. But the day I put SK in my google news alerts I got like 4 great stories.

I also put Sigma Kappa on my news alert. I like getting all these stories on a daily basis about our sorority.

Do you get the blogs and such too? Because those can be interesting, mostly in a good way I get a lot of Phi Sigma Kappa though...
