We're just a local social fraternity who are using this as a stepping stone before persuing affliation with an international fraternity.

I understand if you don't want to reveal who you're trying to affiliate with, but does your choice of letters have anything to do with it? I've heard that some locals do that.

We choose our letters for a number of reasons (obviously I won't get into), but LXA is the front-runner against another fraternity for who we want to affliate with.

Phi Sigma Delta here...a local social fraternity at UW-Milwaukee.

Some history...and why we chose our letters.
We were originally Phi Sigma Kappa, which was established at UW-milwaukee in 1948 (epsilon phi).

We ended up breaking off with psk in 1970 for certain reasons..and we were going to go national with phi sigma delta, well we had planned prior, but they merged with another fraternity, which in turn, ended up merging with ZBT, so we decided to take claim to Phi Sigma Delta, because we had eventually decided to go local and not national again.

Hope that helps

ddenboer -

What campus is that? I can't think of any colleges in Waukesha off the top of my head. Just curious!
