T-Shirt Ideas
Hey there fellow Tri-Sigmas! Do you guys have any good ideas for Rush t-shirts or any other kind of t-shirts? Maybe something cool that your chapter did or that you'd thought might be cool? Thanks a lot!

Hey there - The chapter at ASU recently got tshirts that say "Sigma's Angels" on the front, and on the back it's a take off of the harley davidson logo, but with a sigma (the letter) in it, and there are wings on the sides. The lettering is silver glitter, and they look great! underneath that, is the chapeter and school.
One year, we did tshirts (at a different chapter) with the word "Sisterhood" on the front, and on the back are the triple sigma letters real big, and underneath it says, "What a Rush." THe shirt was long sleeved, and one sleeve was Bid Day 2000.
The shirt is navy blue, with yellow and white lettering. I've seen this shirt in burgundy too....

Hey there! What's your name and how are you involved with the ASU Tri-Sigma chapter? I know the Sigma's Angels t-shirt: it was my bid shirt. But I'll pitch the "What A Rush" t-shirt to the girls! Our chapter is struggling and we're really working hard to create a buzz on campus so any advice would be WAY valued. Thanks!

Sasha - It's Sara...the transfer from Winona State. We sat next to each other at Bucca last Friday. That's so funny!
If you guys only knew how much stuff I have in my folders - I'll have to put together a list of ideas and stuff. I told Serena to email me this weekend if anything came up.

Sara! That's so random! I haven't seen you around since Bucca. Last night the girls did this really cute dance at the Pike philanthropy to that "Butterfly" song. We also have a volleyball thing tomorrow (Saturday). You should come if you're available!

One idea brought up in our chapter is a shirt that says "We helped cure polio... What have you done?" I think the idea was to wear it on philanthropy night. I'm not sure if we're using it or not, but it sounds cute!

Hello my SISTERS!!!!!!!!!!
I do not claim personal credit for this one, but Beta Xi's 2001 Fall Bid Day shirt will be the envy of Southeast. It is light blue with navy, white, and silver printing. The front will have our letters in script (navy w/silver highlights, I believe...), for lack of a better description, right on the breast. The back will be in all three colors. It is a full back design-the text is surrounded by what we assume will look like a strand of pearls with sailboats at the bottom. Under this, it will say something like Southeast MO State U. Bid Day 2001. The text is a quote from the end of Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Waters- "Sail on silver girl
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way
See how they shine
When you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind."
When the we were discussing the shirts at meeting, this was the first idea brought up-we didn't even want to hear the other ideas. Half of us started to cry! We had a wonderful bid day shirt last year, but another sorority plagarized it for their spring bid shirt for Informal Rec. It was pink with purple and silver writing-the main text was "Sometimes the best way to figure out who you are is to go to a place where you don't have to be anyone else!" Unfortunately, it was in silver ink on a coraly-pink shirt (should have been in the purple). My advice is to always make sure that the ink and shirt are different intensities-light ink on dark, dark ink on light, light on med, or dk. on med....NO med-toned ink on med-toned shirt! Hope this helps!

Hey girls, I am looking for ideas for coaches shirts this year. I want something with some attitude.
As for the bid day shirts, when I came in ours said "Tri Sigma or don't Tri at all" Many compliments were given out, and really expressed the confidence we had in ourselves.

Hey! This is my first time posting a reply, so here goes! I was M/R last year and several of our shirt sayings were as follows:
"We entered as strangers and left as sisters" and "the best of what's around--DMB" ... hmmm... I'll have to think of the others later... I'm at a total loss today!
Have a great day!

Hey!!
For Spring Cleanout: the three recylcing arrows with "sigma, sigma, sigma" instead of reduce, reuse, recycle.
Bid Days: do you ever wonder if you joined the right sorority? We don't
Any girl could join a sorority...but only the best tri-sigma
Rho Chi: a picture of an RC Cola can with the sorority letters around it
Greek Week: Heaven doesn't want us, hell can't handle us
Whatever the letter, Greeks do it better
Even if you don't know what you are doing, everybody else does (WSU are horrible gossipers!!)

Hey there! I have a question for all of you, what do you think about this for a bid day shirt? The front: SigMafia The back: Once your in the family you're always in the family.
Just wondering what you all would think. Some of us are worried it might offent some PNM. We don't want to scare them off with references to the mafia.

T-Shirt Ideas
There are so many cute shirt ideas, and so little time.
Our shirts for this fall are really cute. We have both black and white shirts with the same design and colors. It's the violet skull from the Path to Farmville with Sigma Sigma Sigma spelled out in script above the design. And underneath it reads: "You think you know" and on the back "but you have no idea."
Last year we did the Volkswagon bug idea "On the road of life there are friends and there are Sisters, Sisters wanted."
And my first year, they had a really cute shirt with "Here's to the guys we love, here's to the guys who love us. Forget the guys, here's to us!"
In response to the Sigmafia shirt, there were a couple of girls at DLC with similar shirts, and they were done tastefully. You never know what's going to offend PNMs, so I would err on the side of caution. Just my $0.02.
On a side note, I'm already getting really excited for fall recruitment because we've got some great events planned (even though I couldn't go to the workshop to plan them, because I was taking my evil MCATs). Anyone else excited?
Sigma Love and Mine,
Laura

One idea that I saw was "Think about us now, Dream about us later, Dream Sigma Sigma Sigma" Another one, (back of the shirt) "Have you heard the buzz? Bee a Tri Sigma" (has little bees flying around the back). Another one "You've tried the rest, now join the best, Tri- Sigma" Hope that this sounds creative enough to use. I think all of the ideas on this post are really cute. I'm going to tell my tshirt chair about it

i'm trying to think of all our spirit week shirts we had:
on a camo shirt "the few, the proud, the elite" i know it's a little stuck up but it was after we got a small class of girls
"who needs 3 wishes when they'd all be sigma sigma sigma"
"one greek letter 3 times better"
"none of us have it all together but together we have it all"
we had a hot guy party and made shirts that said "i'm not a playa i just crush a lot"
"tri sigma, we're everywhere you want to be" with a list of all the clubs the sisters are involved in on campus on the back and the visa sign on the front with our letters in it.
i forget what the other ones were.

The Alpha Iota chapter did those on black hoodies for big-little shirts.
Here are some other shirts ideas from AI:
Rush shirts: Black short-sleeved shirts
FRONT: "SIGMA" in white writing with purple around it
BACK: "You think you know but you have no idea"
Bid Day shirts: members=hot pink with turquoise writing, new members=turquise with hot pick writing
FRONT: Members="Everyone wanted them"/New Members="Everyone wanted me"
BACK: Members "Sigma Got Them"/New Members "Sigma Got Me"
