Interested Lady
First, let me apologize if I'm in the wrong place for this question, I'm still making my way through the forums. Also, if this area is for strictly for DST then I, again, am sorry.
I am interested in Delta Sigma Theta. I was not able to devote the time during my undergraduate years, nor did I engage with any of the ladies at my university. I do know a couple, but they are older Deltas and are no longer in the city. Now that i've graduated from college and have found a job, I've freed up some time and am looking intently as becoming a member of your organization.
I've searched the National Website as well as the website of my region but the information for the area I'm looking for is not available. I've not browsed individual chapters, but that is my next step to finding a website or information on the local alumnae chapter.
But my immediate question is, what steps should I take to prepare myself for the process?
I have purchased In Search of Sisterhood and am gathering information on the sorority as a whole (i.e. founding members) . I know or believe I know that when persuing the undergraduate chapters there is a lot of information you should know about that chapter.
Your attention would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
