Are you upholding the Oath you took?

What's up Greeks? This topic is for anyone to respond to and not just the Bruhs or Sorors. When we all crossed; we took an Oath that we would do certain things as far as our organizations are concerned and what we would do for humankind as a whole. I'm here to say that besides being "out" there is alot of work to be done. What if anything are you doing to reach back? Are you the "Bridge Builder" William Drumgole spoke about?
I can say I'm ordained by God to work with the youth in all aspects of their lives. I'm actively involved with the area high school students and have been teaching and coaching football since 1992. I am the former youth director at my church and have worked with troubled youth in the capacity of Corrections Officer for the District of Columbia.
I'm not here to toot my own horn but I wanted to point out one area where I'm living out the Oath I took when i joined the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Please share what you are doing for others to see. Peace to all!!!!

Bruh, I am a football coach (7th grade)also and active with my grad chapter. I have been a grad advisor also. I try my best to live my creed and do my duty. ROOO

Hey Bruhs,

It's been awhile since I been by tha' house, But I's BACKK!!!

Now to the question at hand, I'm currently a grad. chapter member, Girl Scout Troop leader,tutor for the local Boys & Girls Club,
tutor for Americorps,very ACTIVE in church,member of the Southern Regional Leadership Team (DST), assistant advisor of my birth chapter,tutor/counselor of Upward Bound program ( targeted at at-risk first generation college students). That's about all I can think of right now.

Greetings and Great Question!

I am an active grad chapter member and an officer. I tutor/mentor teens in my community as well as through my Sorority. I assist the Boys and Girls Club and Cub Scouts with activities that my children are involved in. I am also active in my community association and with a women's group in my church that assists the elderly and canned food drives (haven't been that active with that lately). I actually had to take a break from everything including work recently. But I'm back and ready to promote Greater Service, Greater Progress!
