The 18th Annual Florida Invitational Step Show is a step show featuring the nine organizations that make up the National Pan Hellenic Council (NPHC). Teams are invited from across the nation, some from as far as Texas and Washington D.C. to compete for the first place trophy and cash prize of $3,000, plus bragging rights for year of course! The show takes place on February 17th, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the University of Florida Stephen C. O'Connell Center (the Basketball/Volleyball Stadium).
The weekend starts on Friday with
RTS: Reclaiming the Set, a weekend kickoff event held on campus (Turlington Plaza). Then we have Fashion X-Clusive, an amazing fashion show held Friday night on campus (J. Wayne Reitz Union Grande Ballroom). On Saturday, we have
Greek Fest (Lake Alice Field-on campus), an outdoor festival on campus with plenty of food, games, prizes and giveaways for everyone, with three bounce houses, a rockclimbing wall, step and dance performances, plus much more! This year will be our first ever Greek Fest field day, a Road Rules/Real World style competition between six teams of ten members each. Then of course,
FISS 2007 is that night at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Doors open at 6:00pm, so be sure to get there early to get a good seat! This year, the show is sponsored by the

New Era. SOTY hosts a national step show called Stomp Fest, with a grand prize of $10,000. The
Florida Invitational Step Show is the ONLY Stomp Fest qualifier in the state of Florida! Come be a part of the 3,500 people that travel to the University of Florida to see the best teams across the nation compete for the first place title! It's an event you surely will not want to miss!
