Random sightings of ΣK letters or sisters!!!
Well outside of Gainesville, GC is pretty much the only place that I see letters (the whole only chapter in FL thing). I secretly smile, though, every time I see KΣ letters. I just think "hah they spelled it wrong!" lol

I'm at a different university from where I got my B.A. at & there is a SK chapter here. Every time I see a sister in her letters, I have to keep from waving like crazy & talking to her b/c most of the time, I'm tired & cranky from work & am usually rushing to get to my class or car.

I was wearing my windbreaker yesterday afternoon with my letters on it and the guy at Chipotle couldn't stop talking about how much he loved my sisters!! Apparently he'd gone to a party with them all Friday night and thought they were the greatest! lol

lol on another note, my mom can't stop calling me a kapa sig. WTF! She's gone to parents weekend, has several SK shirts and has had the tour of the house. You'd think she could get it right.
My dad was a KA and back in the day their rivalry was the KS house, so I guess my mom always heard about those Kappa Sigs while my parents were dating.

My grandmother sent me flowers congratulating me on getting into Kappa Sigma... Funny because my grandfather was in KSK I think she just got confused...

I saw a sister today!!!!!!
On I-275, I saw a sister driving a car with Ball State and Sigma Kappa decals. I would've waved to her, but before I could pull even with her car she got off the interstate. So cool - I never see our letters around here!

Do you happen to live in the Michigan area? I saw a car with a Ball State logo and an SK sticker! I also have SK letters on the back of my car, so I was a little sad when she didn't notice.

Whenever I come home, I always see a car with my high school's sticker on it, and then also a Sigma Kappa sticker. I can never quite get to the point where I see who's driving though! I would really love to know who from my high school went Sigma Kappa, because I know many state schools in IL have a chapter

I was upstairs at a railing in a mall outside of Kansas City (Oak Park Mall) and saw a girl wearing a SK sweatshirt walking down on the first floor. I chose not to yell anything

I was at work, driving along rt 95/128 (same road) and I saw a beetle go by with a sigma kappa sticker in the window. I got all excited

I think I saw a guy on CNN wearing a Sigma Kappa hat? Unless it was Epsilon Kappa but I've never heard of that. Anyway, he was a former room mate of the Cho Seung-Hui and was giving the reporters some information on him before the masscre.

I often mistake Sigma Chi letters for ours because at certain angles it's hard to tell if it's a K or an X.

I wore my lavalier to work today and one of the teachers I met noticed it and proceeded to tell me that her sister is a SK. She herself didn't go greek but her sister did. I was impressed she noticed the letters & knew what they were but she laughed and said that it was b/c her sister used to drive them crazy with all her SK gear around the house.
