New Chapter

Saturday December 2, 2006 Alpha Zeta Kappa chapter was installed at Eastern Kentucky University. There were over 30 new members that signed the charter.

We are excited to be full brothers.

Welcome, welcome!

Welcome to the Fraternity!

Odd piece of trivia that you may appreciate. At one time (7-8 years ago?), section 67 was refered to in places like the National Web page as "Eastern Kentucky". There was a resolution passed at a section 67 conference to get that changed to "Eastern and Central Kentucky". Apparently the brothers at UK and UL didn't like to be refered to as being in Eastern Kentucky.
(The part of the State in the Central Timezone is in Section 70 and considered western Kentucky (alongside western Tennessee))

My mother is from Madisonville, KY and when she heard about it, she agreed with the resolution!

Since you're hip to NPHC Greek culture, here is another piece of trivia related to what you posted.

Kappa Alpha Psi founder Elder Watson Diggs was born in Madisonville, KY in 1890.
