Hey yall... My names Katelyn I'm an AZD out of New Orleans. I moved back home after Katrina and to a new school with NO AZD'S!!!!!! I was thinking about trying to start a chapter/colony up here any advice or ideas where to start??

You will need to check with your school's Panhellenic to see the status of the groups there and whether it is willing to add another group. The Panhellenic has to invite us to present (and others) to see who to invite to colonize.

What has happened to/with the chapter at Univ. of New Orleans?.

It is still there, though I am unsure of how they are doing. My beloved AF who was my CA in college is transitioning to their AF soon....though I'm not certain to what extent that has been communicated.
