Greek Life Article

Typical. Just Typical.

Western Courier

Too bad that the Greeks actually pretty much pay for that paper with all the Ads they do for rush, COB, new member welcomes, congrats, sister engagements, etc....

This actually sounds like an article I read before - maybe he plagiarized it - or maybe all these articles are so stupid they're starting to sound alike.

I don't even want to get into the article about Generations X and Y written by someone who obviously has no clue what those terms mean or what age groups they entail.

How tiresome. Every year around this time, there is a plethora of Greek-bashing articles. They all say the same things, some a little more cleverly than others. Blah, blah, blah. These authors shoot from the hip, never once investigating all the good that comes out of fraternity/sorority life.

What a friggen, flaming, Flippant Idiotic thing to publish!

If this moron did any study at all, maybe they would find out the number of Presidents and CEO's of Fortune 500 Greeks there are.

If it was tounge in cheek, it was stupid to even put into print.

Shame

Not all that surprised. When I was on campus, there was always some tension between the Greeks and the GDIs, but I had heard relations had been improving for a while. Oh, well. I'm sure the fact that he won't be involved in a fraternity is some chapter's gain.

My school a paper, while never this hostile, has never been exactly friendly to the Greeks. There is usually at least an article or two and several editorials on the opinions page that bash us.

This year, rather than send several thousand dollars to run ads, we scrapped that and put the money to other ventures.
