Spreading the WORD

I would have posted this in every thread in order to get my word out to the masses. However, I heard that would be conisdered spam and I could get banned from such. But here read...
Redefined Diva felt that I was picking on certain groups of people, because I did not post there where mainly white greek members read. So I am posting it here, because IMO regardless of where I post it the message stays the same. But some people wont rest until they are proven wrong.

noticed that so many people are real quick to claim Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior. Seriously, if I went up to a 100 people and asked them if they loved Satan I’m sure 99% of them would say NO! And if I asked them if they loved Jesus Christ most would say YES! I know you are thinking that this is a good thing and it is, but I started to do some thinking.

If you look at the lifestyles that many of these people who claim to be so in love with Jesus Christ live, you will find that many of them glorify and support Satan's kingdom more than God’s kingdom. It bothers me how most of us desire to go to heaven, go to church and talk about getting all these blessings but when it comes to living a holy and pure life we make millions of excuses and reasons why we shouldn’t. How come so many Christians are walking around here having premarital sex, drinking, cussing, clubbing, lying, homosexuals, gossiping and back biting *just to name a few* but want to be the first to ask God to get them out of a situation and bless them. So if you really love God then why do you make so many excuses to worship the devil? No you many never admit that you are worshipping the devil and may even get offended by me saying that you do. But look at how you support and worship him: You buy the devil's music and make him rich, you watch the devil's TV shows and movies, you play the devil's video games, you have conversations that glorify his kingdom, we sleep with the devil, we drink his music yet no one will ever admit that they love him yet they worship him everyday. Oh but how many are willing to sacrifice to live a holy life for the one they claim to love? How many are willing to obey the scriptures and WAIT UNTIL MARRIAGE FOR SEX?, how many are willing to read their Bible daily and pray, how many are willing to serve in church?, how many are willing to show love to another person and make sacrifices?, why are so many Christian marriages ending in divorce when the scriptures say that God hates divorces? How many are willing to refrain from clubbing, drinking, smoking, and sinning?

And while I am ranting, let me get on the Black Greek Organization. Since this is Greek chat I would love to share my opinions. Now I was very interested in pledging ABC sorority. I read books, did tons of research, went to every program they had on campus, did community service and all you can think an interest would do. I even rushed and started the pledging process. Now I will not get into details of what went down during that process, but I quickly realized that this was not something a Holy Ghost filled Christian woman should engage in. I was immediately told that I could not participate in the college campus Women’s Bible Study and that this organization would come before my God. These were words exactly quoted from a member of the organization. So without putting any of the other members on blast, I realized that my Christianity was more important than this sorority. And that these members or founders could not get me into heaving, fulfill my purpose on this earth or have any REAL benefit to my existence. But I had to think about how many of these organizations “claim” to be founded on Christian principles yet nothing of what they say or do glorifies God in any way. I noticed how most members worship their letters, colors, founders and rituals than Jesus Christ. I saw how the girls who were interested would stay up all night reading books and materials to learn all that they could about the organization they were interested in pledging. They would endure any amount of stress, pain, abuse in order to receive what they ultimately wanted. It didn’t matter what they went through they just knew that in the back of their minds they would not drop line because what they wanted was more was worth more than any sacrifice they had to made. And in the end to many of them it was well worth it. They are now apart of organization where they have special bonds with females across the world. Some tell me that because of their affiliation they have received jobs and networked with women all over the country. So for them the 2-6 months of sacrifice was well worth it.

What if we as Christians could be like these Greek members and treat our Christianity like they do their Greek affiliation. Think about it. God has a family that anyone regardless of who you are, who you are related to, what you know, what you did in the past you could be apart of it. He doesn’t haze you to be apart of His family. Matter of fact the only one who suffered was His son and he did it so you wouldn’t have to suffer. God does not required you to spend lots of money, all He asks of you is 10% tithes which He promised to give back to you. In his family you have brothers and sisters across the world; He has the largest family compared to any Greek Organization. The founders are great men and women in the Bible, and all you need to know is available to all in the Holy Scriptures. And the benefits??? The benefits are out of this world you now have access to His throne, you access to His mercy and grace, He will forgive you for any and all of your sins. He provides all of your needs. He blesses you abundantly, He promised to give you eternal life. He will never leave you or forsake you. He takes care of all your problems and burdens so you can rest easy. He constantly is protection you for hurt, harm and danger. I mean who wouldn’t want to be apart of this wonderful family. With all these benefits yet people still complain about the persecution they deal with as a Christian and the moment something bad happens in their life they are ready to quit God but if they were pledging they wouldn’t think twice. People would rather go over and beyond and do more for a man made organization than what they would do for God’s family. Even though being apart of God’s family means less sacrifice and more benefits people would rather sacrifice more to be apart of a BGLO with LESS benefits. I think about how Greek members spend a lot of money on paraphernalia because they want others to recognize and know that they are apart of an organization. But how do we as Christians represent Christ? Many of are us are too ashamed to even let others know we are Christians. Would you spend money to wear something so others can identify you as a Child of God?? But you wouldn’t think twice to spend money for your Greek Organization.

Sorry for the rant, but this really bothers me. The purpose of this post was for you to be offended. Sooo offended and mad that you reflect on what I said and pray and ask God to change you. I don’t mind if this post is deleted because my goal and volition is that at least one person reads this in its entirety and that it pisses them off sooo much they want to do something about it and CHANGE their life. I have a crazy testimony and one of these days I will share it but to all of u interests and Greek members if you really love Jesus Christ than why do you continue to glorify the kingdom of Satan???

But on to my opinion on this rant, I dunno, I mean...I'm a proud member of my sorority, a BLACK greek organization ( I assume since she mentioned us specifically, she was also downing us specifically) and I praise the Lord every day of my life and try my best to live according to his Word. I guess, as logic should have suggested to "unknown2U" or whoever she is, the INDIVIDUAL has to make their life, religious, and social decisions...not abide solely by what they see others in the organization do. There are bad seeds and misguided people in ALL organizations on this earth, including the CHURCH itself.

So, after taking the time to read ALL of that, I am still left with this question: What does ANY of that have to with Greek Life? I mean, you included a brief story of how you pledged then depledged. You also feel that most GLO members glorify their organization more than they do their religion. My response is just one word, "And your point?". The same could be said for sports enthusiasts, movie buffs, etc etc.
