philanthopies

we usually do ours for the local boys and girls club, with united way, american cancer society, local mission effort, or i think a good idea is to team up with a local youth group or high school program. that is a definate way to get the local newspaper out on the site, and it gets you better coverage. also, it gives you high school kids to share the grunt-work with. haha. good luck, bro.

Thumbs up

Brother Bradshaw, met a couple of UNO Brothers at leadership in KC!

Great guys!

We do GNA Food Drive in couple of different ways!

1 is of course asking for can goods.
2 we do western week and ask for canned goods!

I am going to institute a 3 rd! Anytime we have a meeting, the Alums Bring a case of goods for the food drive. We have Home comming, House Corp and Mentoring meetings ! + Founders Day!

Hot-Tob-A-Thon with one Soroity, do for 72 hours on the lawn of the House for Ronald McDonald House and get local coverage in Both Pittsburg Ks. and Joplin, Mo.

Good Luck!

Brian,

A guy in our town has contracted ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and it's terminal. He has a wife and five kids. So a few locals put together a benefit concert to raise some money for the family.

I paid $50 for my ticket to see Paul Simon, Garland Jeffreys, Phobe Snow, and Suzanne Vega last Wednesday. They took in megabucks.

Alot of stars do benefits and it doesn't cost a dime to ask if they'll do it. Promote yourself and your cause. Be positive.

Most of all...think BIG!

Much luck to you.
