pledge pins

Have you ever seen this? The listing says that it was in use before our current Caduceus pin.

Rare pair of Kappa Sigma pledge pins

I hope it's being sold to a brother and not some random person

I had not seen those, and I was unaware that there was a previous version of the pin. Very interesting.

Hey, my name is Bryan. I was the one who purchased these pins. I'm a Fall 2001 initiate of Epsilon-Zeta chapter at University of Connecticut, and collect whatever Kappa Sigma memorabilia I can get my hands on. I've kept one of the pins, the other pin will be given away to the next model pledge at his initiation this fall. I didn't want to see these pins to anyone but a brother. I am trying to find an exact date when these pins were used. They're quite beautiful.

Oh, and I am also doubting that they were pledge pins. Having spoken to Mic Wilson recently, he said he thought our pledge pin was always the Caduceus... I think, rather, I have some odd piece of memorabilia anyways.

Nice, glad that a Kappa Sig got the pins, and better yet one who will appreciate them. If you find out any more info (at least info that is ok for public consumption), send along an update. I'd never heard anything about a prior version of the pledge pin until I saw this. Maybe it was something chapter-specific.
