NUPES Do It Big

My friend, who is an AKA kept texting me last night. All the text kept saying was, "the Kappa's showing out." I was thinking at a step show or party. She called me last night and said that the Kappa's showed out at the Public Meeting at the AKA Boule in Detroit. She said all the members of Kappa had on their red coats, cream pants, and brown shoes looking clean. As the AKA's came into the public meeting each one received a pink carnation from a Kappa. The NUPES purchased 5000 pink carnations.

And then to top it off, each fraternity presented the AKA's and their Supreme Basileus with a gift. When it was our (Kappa) turn, the NUPE that presented the gift said, "if a woman is to receive a gift it needs to come in blue bag and box." He held up the box. Those of you that purchase real jeweler for you lady knows that the blue bag or box means it came from Tiffany's. When the NUPE raised the box, the AKA's went CRAZY. The NUPE presented the AKA Supreme Basileus with a piece of jewelry from Tiffany's. My friend said that they (AKA's) were on the floor screaming like Denzel Washington had walked through the door.

I asked my friend what the other fraternities gave them and she said, "dry ass plaques and trophies." She said the Kappa's out shined all the fraternities. She said, that Kappa's just were a klass above the rest.

That is so special. Kudos to the Kappas for doing their thing. Y'all can give me one of those turquoise gift boxes or bags any time.

Awww!!! That is too sweet. The Kappas did their thang at Boule to show their appreciation to the oh so pretty women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. They have been doing excellent gestures for years. After all, pretty boys like pretty girls. I'm digging that flower of choice(love that bond) and the fact that they got the Supreme Basileus something from Tiffany's. One should never settle for less, and the Nupes gave the AKAs the best. I wonder if it was a diamond. Diamonds are a girl's best friend, and I keeps me a Kappa man. I'm big on symbolism. It is the thought that counts, and this sounded well thought out. Keep doing what yall doing.

OMG, not the roses AND the Tiffany box? Come on Kappas step up ur game!! Hopefully the roses were red, or some other "not pink" color!

I don't know, maybe I'm not a romantic, but I never get hyped off of "blue", while I love the Tiffany jewelry I have been given, I'd prefer something a bit more practical that I can really use....I'm thinking of something GREEN!!

Heck, I start law school in less than a month, I'm thinking of something Black and/or Silver...I'll give you a hint, it starts with "L" and ends with "aptop"! SO, if any of the Nupes want to do it BIG [like $3000 worth] step on up! heck, it could be pink, red, blue...I'm not picky [please see me for system specifications]
