America's Got Talent

Anyone else watching? That dude who did the ventriloquism act about gozilla was sick. I can't even fathom how he did it...

I watched parts of it. The ventriliquist guy was pretty amazing, but I was pretty unimpressed with a lot of the other acts. I feel like they must have purposely had on some really horrible acts to get people booing and make the show more interesting.

The Angel-Fairie Dude was hilarious. The only problem was that he really wasn't trying to be funny.

And that stripper was just TOO MUCH.

I missed this guy. What was his talent, anyway? I was switching between this and So You Think You Can Dance and only caught the part where the judges asked him back on stage. Does he dance (prance, I mean) or what?

He put a knife in his mouth and then balanced a "sword" type thing on the tip. Then he did the splits all three ways and picks the sword up off the tip of the knife with dental floss. It was actually kind of cool.

Yeah, there was like no talent at all there esp compared to the actual GOOD people, but oh well. Boys will be boys I suppose...

Were those the women who were mothers? I was grossed out by their really bad boob jobs!!!!

The opera singer was good, i'm glad he actually could do it and it wasn't all hype.

Boyfriend and I love this show! It has such a variety of talent.

Good job to the insurance salesman-Opera singer. I was a little annoyed that the audience essentially cut him off. He's the front runner I'd say.

The four year old was adorable, but this is a contract to get a Vegas show. It's not like she had some amazing vocal talent - I was just amazed she could remember the lyrics to Somewhere Out There!

I actually dig a good burlesque act, but those chicks weren't good. They were messy and very novice. Our troops deserve better...lol.

The batton twirler was great. Again, not sure there's a whole show there, but it was entertaining.

I also thought the trombone player/dancer was very entertaining.

I think the audience was way too obnoxious. But I LOVE Sharon...she thanks even the bad acts for coming!
They needed to tone it down about 100,000 notches! These people are getting on stage to perform, and I thought it was SO RUDE of the audience to BOO them the entire time they're up there. Horrible or not, it's got to be frightening enough without the terror of 2,000 people booing at you!
Even the good acts, the audience was so loud that I'm sure they had a hard time keeping focused. It looked like little Kaitlyn was having a tough time hearing her music.
I like the way SYTYCD does it. The scant audience is just other performers who have stuck around or not gone on yet. They're way more encouraging, even to those who aren't great.
