Skyline mural

We've used two different skylines.

The first was a kit we bought from Stumps (aka Shindigz). It was made out of corrugated cardboard and had lights on it. It was not freestanding and really just didn't turn out looking all that great.

The other one we made ourselves. We bought black paper from Shindigz (the roll was 9 ft tall - 36 feet long) and used white paint to paint the city on there. It looked a lot like the opening credits to Frazier where they draw the outline of Seattle but we just did skyscrapers. This one actually had a much nicer effect than the kit one. We stuck it to the wall with doublesided tape. I cannot figure out how to put a picture here but if you want to see how our NY themed event turned out, pm me and I'll try to email you some or maybe I'll share them on shutterfly.
