Shopping in Las Vegas - any suggestions, girls?

Hi Girls,
I'm going to Las Vegas for the FIRST TIME EVER in May. It will only be a 4 day trip and since it's for work, I will have a *bit* of free time, but not a lot.

What should I be sure to hit for shopping? I definitely want to go to Jimmy Choo, not that I can afford it, but it's always fun to look!
What else is in LV, that is not necessarily readily available elsewhere? I'm mostly interested in clothes and shoes! Pretty jewellery is always fun, too!

Bear in mind, I live in Canada, which has inferior retail shopping to my American cousins!

For high end shopping go to the Forum Shops at Ceasar's Palace. I know there is an outlet mall within an hour from LV (I've never been) and the Fashion Show Mall is near the Las Vegas Hilton and Convention center.

Have fun.

I second the Forum Shops. They're just amazing.

There are a couple outlet malls nearby. The
Fashion Outlets are a little farther away but there are shuttle buses from some of the hotels. I've never been there but it looks like the stores there are a bit more upscale of the two.

The Las Vegas Outlet Center is at the far south end of the Strip and on the city bus line. I've been there...I liked it.

Dunno, to me the Fashion Show Mall's not all that. It's reminiscent of any other mall with the same stores and all, just everything's overpriced because it's "the Fashion Show Mall". I really don't understand why people speak so highly of it.

If you're going to spend big bucks anyway, then it's all about the Forum Shops.

Lots of tourists like hitting up the outlet malls, but if you've ever been in an outlet mall, chances are the stores are the same at Belz. For some reason I like going to the Primm stores even though it's a long drive.

I agree The Forum shops are fabulous as well.

For me, if it looks like "any other mall", it would probably be okay, though, b/c there are different stores in the USA than Canada anyway, so it's always fun for me to go in there and look. I'm not much of an "outlet" girl....if I can put it in a Hawaii context, I quite liked Ala Moana Centre.....it has some upscale and some regular, middle of the road shops. Is that what I am getting with the Fashion Show Mall?

Just wanted to correct that the fashion show mall is not by the Hilton it is across from a convention center but not "the convention center". It's on the strip across the street from TI and the new Wynn. You can't miss it the corner store is Neiman.

Also chipping in to add the Desert Passage Mall at the Aladdin isn't too bad either. I still love me some Forum shops.

I need a Vegas fix!
