Is random information from a public message board considered a decent source for research projects nowadays? We get so many of these people that are doing "projects", etc.?

Wonder if they're really for a scholarly project, or if they're looking for background info to set the tone for their next erotica story.

Agreed on people using GC for "project research" since any good search engine/jounral locator will get you the info you need. Some people just want the easy way out I guess.

I do have a suggestion for anyone interested in NPC sorority history-- I like Bound by a Mighty Vow by Diana Turk. I used it for a paper last year. There are also several journal articles on jewish fraternities and sororities that I enjoyed.

Maybe search GC as well.....

There are any number of sites out there - just do Google searches for "History of Greek Life" or something similar, and you're bound to come up with something.

Priceless. Reminds me of my college graduation - walking through campus on my way to stadium for ceremony we passed the million volume library. I turned to my parents and I said with a million dollar straight face, "So THIS is where the library is". I swear they believed me for a minute!!
