Tom, I have no earthly idea what you're trying to say.

But whatever the new generation is, I don't like it.

I think maybe he's trying to say that he saw or read somewhere someone labeling a generation (judging by the title, probably the youngest current generation) AQ - like Gen X or Gen Y.

I'm part of Gen Y, i think. I prefer Gen Why? because we need to know some answers to some things that we haven't been filled in on. Starting with the german language on this continent, and our role in the first world war. Interesting.

You might be part of the cusp, between Gen X and the Millennials (new word for Gen Y, born 1982 or later).

"Millennials" really isn't a prevalent term - Gen Y is probably more accurate and widely used.

Also Gen Y is more based on how you were brought up than when, so the dates can vary between 1980 and 1984 for the beginning period.

For me: Berlin Wall=Grade 5 (I *THINK*)
LA Riots = Grade 7
Kurt Cobain's Suicide=Grade 9

I really hate those Generation labels. I don't think I fit into one. The Baby Boomers supposedly ended in 1964 and I was born in 1965. I think my year is more like the Baby Boomers than the Gen Xers. How can one year drastically change your life experiences? It doesn't!

I guess you are like those who are on the cusp of two zodiac signs.

it can't... for example... I was born Dec. 24 1979... a week and a half before 1980 this places me, depending on what you read in Gen X or Gen Y. I definitely feel I fit more into Gen Y than Gen X from having read descriptions. It's all for marketing anyway.
