Wearing Your Letters!
Ok, I'm a neo. But I'm still old skool. I was at the riverboat casino Sunday and seen a woman wearing a sweat shirt with her Greek Letters on(I won't say which one). Is it just me, but was that totally unappropiate.
I would never gamble, drink, smoke, or even swear wearing para. Can I get some responses.

Interesting you should bring this up Soror
Chi_ZETABBW. I can't speak for any group but Zeta. As Finer Women we all (should) know how to carry ourselves in dress and behavior for situations/events. I agree that wearing letters or anything that would reveal your sorority affiliation while participating in a questionable activity is strongly discouraged (at least in Zeta Phi Beta anyway). Sorors young and old (and perhaps greeks in general) should be mindful of how they represent the organization and should want to do nothing that makes the sisterhood look bad or less than our polished selves. I agree with not wearing your letter while gambling, swearing, and drinking to a certain extent. I don't think it's bad to wear your letters if you are, for example, having a glass of wine with dinner (or something like that). Hanging out at a bar and doing shots while in your letters? Now that's a different story!

In my college years, I've noticed that members of BGLSs don't usually do anything questionable in their letters...as for members of BGLFs, it seems to not matter...
What are others feelings?

Undergrad Opinion
I was always taught when I became a Zeta to NEVER do anything in your letters that you couldn't testify about in church on sunday
