I have a confession . . .
Ladies,
I have something to tell everyone. Its huge news and I've never done anything like this before.
Ok, so I found out in January that in September I'm going to be a MOM!! Holy Crap! Mr. PR and I are really happy and our families are even more excited. I just wanted to share my joy with all of ya'll.
Xi Love,
Tina

Ha Ha - more, there is so much I could say but I'll keep it to myself.
We alread know that either way the gender lottery goes it will be a Xi legacy because of, of course me, and the fact that Mr. PR is a Theta Xi. It's such a fun combination. The ultrasound where we can find out is shedules for April 17 (great day!) and it'll be the first time Mr. PR gets to "see" the baby.
Everything else is going great. I'm into the second trimester and I haven't had any morning sickness or that kind of yicky stuff. I've just noticed that I've become more and more homesick for family and certain foods from Birmingham. I'd love to be around my mom and sister more and be able to go shopping with them. But then, I'd also really really want a Milo's hamburger and fries, a little love from Mellow Mushroom, or a Sneaky Pete's dog. The funny thing about the hot dog is that that, along with a Dr. Pepper, is what my mom ate when she was pregnant with me. Mr. PR says that 19 hrs. is too far to drive for lunch or dinner and I'll have to live with that for now. I'm just trying to figure out how I can get us home before the baby is born. I'll figure something out, don't worry.

What about a nice "Touchdown Auburn!" with matching arms raised above the head?
Do you know how hard it is to resist doing to nursery in Auburn stuff, boy or girl? I have to fight myself everyday, especially on the ones when my aunts call and say they've found the perfect bedding set with little football player and cheerleaders on it.

I'll take that too!
If it's a girl, you KNOW you'll have her in a little orange and blue cheerleader outfit! And if it's a boy, he better have a little AU jersey to wear

Shouldn't we be panhellenic about this and tell her how great all of the sororities are? I'm only kidding (honest). I wish you the best during this exciting time. Keep us posted.
There is a really cute maternity store in Dallas, but I know they have stores around the US. Its called Pickles and Ice Cream and they have a website. The clothes have a nice fit about them.

I'm ready for Monday already! We go in for the 18-20 wk. ultrasound and if someone (as I look down at my belly) will cooperate, we'll know if its _____ or _____. Yes, we already have names picked out. It's a character flaw, we like to be very very prepared.
Question: When did ya'll start buying stuff for the nursery, etc. ?
ps - Happy Easter!

Once I knew what I was having was when I started to buy things. With my first I bought stuff starting around 16 weeks, found out I was having a boy at 21 weeks and then had my son at 26 weeks... all is well now since Jadon turned 7 last Christmas! With my second I was high risk and I knew at 15 weeks I was having a girl... although they wouldn't say for sure since it was a little early! As soon as I got to 20 weeks and it was still a girl I started buying things. Then at 24 weeks I ended up on bedrest and made it to 34 weeks with my daughter Grace. We had everything bought and set up a couple of weeks before Grace actually got here since we knew I wouldn't make it to term. Again all is well 'cuz Grace is now almost 18 months old!

We went to the doctors on Monday for the 18-20 wk sonogram and saw a very very active little baby. It's was so neat to how much baby was moving around and it definetyly confirms that this is a child after my own heart. Everything as far as development looked good and was in line with getsational age, etc. We were both excited to know that everything looked healthy. (I'm kinda excited about the fact I've only gained a pound so far!)
I think my husband was just floored to actually see the baby and reality set in that we really are having a baby. But I know what everyone really wants to know . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
It's a GIRL!!!
and she's exploring the wonder that is her thumb in this pic.
