Thomas Earp
If fraternities had such loyal and dedicated alums as Tom Earp
we'd all certainly boom. His almost-single handed saving of LX
zeta and sticking his neck out, warts and all, is certainly an
example of true fraternalism, bond and all.
You have every reason to be proud of him. If I'd have stayed at
the Pitt another year and if Tom would have not found LXA, he'd
have made a helleva good Teke.
What Tom has done deserves a good pat on the back and a good
article in the C & C. He's a gem. Erik P Conard, PhD, TKE

Erik,
I couldn't agree with you more! Tom knows how to keep folks together. He's like a pit bull that way. We appreciate your kind words and yes, he is deserving of a highlight in the C&C! I thought about that last fall, in fact.

Thank Both of You for the Accolades, and it makes one feel proud of what has been done for may Years, but We cannot forget the many Brothers from LX and TKE who have made Both Great National/International Greek Organizations.
I know may Brothers on GC who have done so much for not only The National But The Local Level and that is what makes us great!

Tom! You spelled every single word correctly.
Are you drunk?
(ooops, my bad - you left an "n" out of many. Damn!)

Wow.
Jono and Conard's check's must've cleared, eh, Tom?
Seriously - when someone bleeds PPG as Tom does, even at his "seasoned" state of life - is a wonder to behold - truly an embodiment of "not four years, but for life" for us all to aspire to.

For those who don't want to register...here's the article linked above...
Lambda Chi Alpha inducts new members
By KEVIN FLAHERTY
Morning Sun Staff Writer
Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity just multiplied its membership by seven. The fraternity installed 21 new students last week, the latest effort to build up its membership.
The fraternity previously only had one active member, Chris Beyer, and a couple of associate members. Beyer is set to graduate in May.
The 21 members, who were inducted at Pittsburg State University's Timmons Chapel, include: Steve Anderson, Chris Anderson, Cody Freeze, Billy Grassie, Brandon Iloilo, Mark Jansen, Caleb Linn, Wesley Nimmo, Taylor Rainy, Brett Ritchey, Jarrod Rogol, Zach Russel, AJ Stuterman, Ryan Sullivan, Kevin Freeman, Dillan Fullerton, Kyle Hughes, Kyle Kunkle, Robert Wan Wey, Garrett Beckman and Richard Hoyt.
"It's just great, we're really excited," said Josh Lodolo, Lambda Chi expansion leader. "We had a number of other candidates that we didn't get to, so we've been talking about sending a couple of staff members back to talk to them next week."
Lodolo was in charge of reinvigorating the fraternity. The newly rebuilt Lambda Chi chapter had been close to dying out fairly recently following the loss of its house, which dropped active membership from 30 members to one.
The new members will have the advantage of a new house, one much nicer than the structure that Lodolo had likened to the Delta house in "Animal House." In the next few weeks, the fraternity expects to complete a more than $1 million chapter house that will include capacity for 16 members, with the possibility to expand to 20 in the future.
Members will be able to move in starting fall 2006.

Thanks for posting the article.
This is very good news and just goes to show what can happen when people don't lose hope. Having attended a reception and also a HC meeting at the old "Animal House" (which Tom would call the Great Lady - did I remember that right?), I know it needed to be replaced, but the new one will be even better. It looks like Lambda Chi Zeta is well on the way to recovery.
Congratulations and kudos to everyone involved!
ZAX,
Jono

Close Jono, I called it the "Grand Old Lady", and after 30 + years, She needed to be put to rest. God the memories that ran through Her.
Before anyone says wow, only 30 + years, She was built in 1895, so she needed a rest. Jono can attest to that for sure!
The New House isnt 1 M but only @ 1/2 to 3/4 M. The membership was down to 1. Period. With the help of Josh and Jason, there were 21 New Recruits who were installed as New Associates. Dont beleive everything that is inPrint Media. I know first hand!!!!
What is really exciting, is that as I worked my rear off to get aid from IHQ, the major fact is that IHQ did come to our aid. This coupled with the enthusiasm of Brothers from Drury and Kansas State, and the re-interest of Alums will make this work.
With virtualy no Family, LXA is My Family and all Brothers are My Brothers.
I do Pee Gold though!
