Reception - Mother/daughter dance???

Ok, so I know this may sound weird but I want to do a mother/daughter dance at my wedding reception. My dad passed away 6 years ago. Besides that my parents divorced when I was about 12 and I've always been a mama's girl! Has anyone ever seen this done or know of a good song for a mother & daughter to dance to?

Thanks!

My little did this at her wedding as her dad had passed away several years earlier. I would say any song that has special meaning to you and your mom would be the best.

Or you could read a poem or a letter to your mom and present her with a small bouquet at the end.

My cousin did this at her wedding because her father had passed away. I think it's a pretty popular thing and I don't think it's weird at all! And your mother would probably be very proud and honored to have the dance with you.

Thanks for the input. Someone I talked to suggested "In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride so I think that might be it.

Thanks!
