I doubt I'll read this book. I've lived this, the pictures of the aftermath are still in my mind. I'm reminded of the horrors EVERYDAY! However, this is one of the first books I've seen post-Katrina relative to the story.

I hear you. The memories and wounds are too fresh. And I wasn't even there. I could only imagine what it'd be like to relive that hell being from the gulf coast.
Michael Eric Dyson is cool, though; I'm sure he'll do the book justice.
