Lightbulb Rush Skits

I am a sister of the Lambda Zeta chapter and also the rush director this year. I am in need of ideas for skits and themes for this upcoming Fall rush. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much,
April

We have a few, like a beach theme, but we are still searching for more.... so if you have any we would really appreciate it! Thanks so much!

My chapter does a "Phi Mu Chorus Line" for theme night. We have girls dressed up in top hats, fishnet tights, black leotards, and tails coats. We sing "One Singular Senation" and a bunch of other songs. It is awesome.

have u guys ever watched the Phi Mu bandstand video? Yep, that's pretty much what we at Rho Beta do. This year our girls have added in our version of Bye Bye Bye, it's called, ironically, Phi Phi Phi

Cool

Recruitment. My favorite thing in the entire world! I love to write skits and songs. As far as theme suggestions go, I have written the beach theme for my chapter. The thing to be careful with that is that beach music tends to be slow. Incorporate a karoke at the beach, kinda thing for a more up beat theme. Also, the lion king is another that I have wrote. Be careful with this one. It can come off cheesy. Disney themes only work at certain schools. As far as writing themes and songs go, if you all have trouble, let me know. I listen to songs and just start composing a Phi Mu song while I'm listening to it. As for the one lady who's chapter is using the "Lady Marmalade" theme, I would like to get more info on how you all are doing that, 'cause I had a similiar idea. The advice that I have out there to any Membership Directors is, there is incredible great music out there right now that is so perfect for Phi Mu and so perfect for Recruitment. So many up beat songs. It's the perfect time for Recruitment!! Make it up beat and make it popular! The potential members won't be able to help but notice how wonderful Phi Mu is!

What is this bandstand thing?? I don't think I've ever heard of it.

And I wanted to let you know that we do a Grease theme for one of our skits and it always goes over really well. I'm also curious about this Marmelade theme.

LIOB,
Sarah
