Advice?

I am looking for advice from members of BGLOs. I am trying to be as respectful as possible, so please let me know (nicely) if I am out of line in any way.

In the past year, I have shown interest in an organization. The more I learned about it and attended events, the more uncomfortable I became. I realized that, although I liked the members a lot, it’s not really for me. I gave up the idea, but then I was very surprised to find out some wonderful things about a different organization. The more I learn about this one, the more I want to be a part of it.

The problem is that members of the second org definitely saw me at the events of the first and knew that I was interested. So I'm wondering if it makes sense to try and explain myself to them and hope that they will understand that I'm not settling for second best. Or is it considered very insulting to the second org and I should just wait until the grad level. I didn't go to an informational or rush or anything, but two women- one form each org- are best friends so I'm sure there's no doubt that I was pursuing the first one.

I'm not asking you to tell me what I should do; I obviously have to decide that for myself. But any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
