Phi Chapter Is Ok!!

Just to pass the word, all of the Phi Chapter women at Southeastern Louisiana U. (Hammond, LA) are accounted for. Our two Area Recruitment Coordinators (Jen M. and Jess F.) are OK as well.

According to Jen, power was back on at SLU on Friday, and that campus should be getting back in the swing of things soon. Jess says that she has to report back to teaching on Tuesday (she made it to Nashville to her fiance's family home, but said it was a nightmare getting there). Apparently her apartment is OK (I'm not sure exactly where she lived). Jen made it to Lake Charles, LA and is staying with inlaws. Looks like it will be a while before they can return home to stay, as her area suffered more damage.

Send prayers of thanks for the good news, and continue praying for those who aren't so lucky. And don't forget to give what you can!

Hey yall,
Damage down here wasnt as bad as it was in New Orleans or that area. Mostly many many down lines and trees but a few homes have been hit. Right now we just need prayers for us. A few girls have lost their homes that were located in the new orleans/chalmette area which was hit very hard. Thankfully all their familys and all the girls are safe though. Thanks for the prayers they really mean alot to us. Phi Chapter.
