Katrina concerns

Just wondering if there is anyone out there from Epsilon Phi at Loyola or Delta Pi at Univ. of Southern Miss., or knows anyone from either chapter? I'm concerned about the chapter members first and foremost, but what about their homes? Does either chapter have a house? I remember several years back when EO set up a fund for the Alpha Theta house @ North Dakota when there was a flood. Mostly I'm just wondering about the girls, though.

I visited So. Miss once a couple years ago and I believe they have one big dorm with a greek group on each floor or something to that effect. I'm not sure who exactly is on which floor but I recall DG being pretty high up on the 3rd or 4th floor.

I have a friend whose an Alpha Chi Omega at Loyola. She said the school is destroyed and they are talking about years for rebuilding. If i recall, DG does have a house at Loyola. She said her sorority house is not in good shape. Bourban and Canal street are under water. She said alot of her sisters didn't evacuate and she cannot get ahold of them. I think its a good time to keep all our sisters in that area in our prayers. The idea of losing everything is devastating. She is pretty sure she won't be able to finish out her college experience at Loyola. I think we're going to do a fundraising project here for our sisters down there who were affected. I think if EO sponsored a large effort this year with all the chapters to help the sisters down south out that would really help.
