For those who believe that...
certain diseases have cures but are kept secret
and/or
certain diseases and conditions are created...
I would like to ask why. And, I'm not talking about a simple answer such as, "oh, it's because people are greedy".

i believe it - because of things like malaria. we have the power and ability to make and distribute new drugs for tropical diseases but we don't. people from coutries that are most afflicted with tropical diseases aren't footing the drug company bills. middle/upper class people are, which is why we've got TONS of drug research focused on cancer.

Well...the diabetes thing with stem cell research. Aparently th e tests have gone exceedingly well with implanting islet cells. This is why I get so *!ADF*ing mad about the pro-life posturing. Hello! MY life is important TOO!

I agree. I would like one day not to have take insulin thakyou very much. Which is why I'm also not a big fan of animal rights groups, such as Peta. If it wasn't for medical research on dogs, I would not be alive today.

I'm not saying I believe for sure that there are a lot of cures for stuff that are being kept secret, but you really have to wonder...
