Las Vegas police now think a dispute at a UNLV fraternity party led to a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded_Sunday night.
Authorities say a suspect is still at-large after the slaying a little before 11:30 PM Sunday in front of a Las Vegas convenience store near Maryland Parkway and Sierra Vista.
He's described as a skinny black man, about 20 to 25 years old, with a bald or shaved head and maybe a small goatee mustache. He had on a black T-shirt, black pants and black shoes.
Police were already in the area, not far from the UNLV campus, after reports of fighting and gunshots about 10:00 PM on South Cambridge Street and Lisbon Avenue after a fraternity "step" party.
They think the man who was killed was targeted, and the man who was wounded in the lower leg was an innocent bystander. He was taken to nearby Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
