Talking has anyone seen the movie "Going Greek?"

"Going Greek" is a funny movie...I just watched it the other day...

Yeah, it is. And if you watch closely, on the door of one of the brothers (I can't remember his name, but his girlfriend had problems "accomodating" him), there is a Cross and Cresent symbol and a Delta Pi symbol.

It's a fun movie to watch as a brotherhood and point out which brother is the football jock, the enthusiastic legacy shrimp, the ridiculously successful ladies' man, the guy that can build a bong out of anything, the guy who falsely brags about his size...

We usually watch this just before each I-week with the AM's. We talk about the stereotypes of fraternities and the different experience that they have from other fraternity's pledges. After watching a movie like that, they seem to acknowledge how much better the AM process is than pledging. They almost always note the fact that pledges have to learn, and that they WANT to learn.
