Help Needed

Hey all,
My name is Nate Hayward and I am a member of Pi Delta Psi Fraternity, Inc., an Asian Cultural Fraternity.

As of now, we have 19 chapters, but we are looking into how to get more alumni involvement. I personally feel that Graduate Chapters would help our organization tremendously.

I was wondering, how do you go about starting something like a Graduate Chapter? For example, how do you get people interested in it? How do you implement something like that into your National Structure, etc?

Any help would be much appreciated! Feel free to PM me or post here!

Our Founders actually started our alumnae chapters after they left college, so they have been a part of our org's structure since early on.

You will probably have better luck with this question in one of the other forums--Greek Life, Chapter Operations, or Alumni Involvement.

ETA: I see you spammed this in all of the NPHC forums. What I said holds true for all of them.

Sorry. My intention was not to spam the NPHC Chapters. I didn't know how frequently NPHC people read the General Forum, so I figured posting in each org's forum was the best way to go. I am sorry that it came across wrong, as I was not intending to annoy people.

On the NPHC side of GC, we typically look/read each other's forums. It is a good idea to not post the same topic in all 9 of the forums, this goes for events, questions, etc. Also if you title the thread better (more specific) more people are liable to read/respond. HELP is far too general.

As my Soror Ladygreek stated, our founders started graduate chapters. So if your org. has 19 chapters, those who have graduated could continue your orgs. mission, services and so on at the graduate level. The more work they do in your community, the more your community would want to be a part. This process could be included into your orgs bylaws or constitution or whatever you all have.
Hope that helps.
