More alcohol-related problems for Berkeley Greeks?

A UC Berkeley student is in critical condition after she was hit by a Jeep while waiting at a bus stop . . . .
Eighteen-year-old UC Berkeley freshman and Cal water polo player Christopher Talbott was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence in connection with the crash.
. . . [A witness saw] four or five people jump out of the car and run in opposite directions. The driver stayed at the scene. The passengers have yet to be identified, according to a police statement.
...police said they found several open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. They gave Talbott a field sobriety test at the scene, and arrested him for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, driving with an open container, and possession of a false ID . . . .
Police later confirmed that the Jeep was coming from a “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”-themed party at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Police said Talbott had driven to the residence halls to pick up some female students and was on his way back to the party at the time of the accident. . . .
