Fire at William and Mary
in one of the dorms this morning.
I did not know where to put this news.
I am sure that some of the Greeks on the campus were affected. Please keep these students in your prayers.

I found out this afternoon that the daughter of one of my coworkers was affected by this fire. She is unhurt, but she lost everything - clothes, ID, computer, textbooks, everything that was in her dorm room. Among other things, she lost her passport, and she is scheduled to go overseas in two weeks, so she's trying to get an emergency passport issued.
I'm just glad no one was hurt.

A few of my Beta brothers are Resident Advisors at W&M, so I was relieved to hear that everyone made it out safely. Our chapter has become good friends with them. I hope everyone there manages to overcome this obstacle.

I'm so glad that no one was hurt; let's just hope that everyone retained enough to get through finals!
I'm also thankful that it wasn't one of the older, historic buildings - enough of those have already been lost to fires.
