More than 140 participants, 20 businesses contribute to race for McNamara memorial scholarship

More than 140 people wearing yellow "Run For Shannon" shirts did exactly that Sunday on the Panther Trail for the Second Annual Shannon McNamara 4K Run/Walk.
Shannon McNamara, an Alpha Phi sorority member, a physical education major and member of the Physical Education Honors Club, was murdered June 12, 2001, and an event was made in her name.
