New Gap commercial w/ Sarah Jessica

The Talbot's thread made me think of this...

Does anyone else adore the new "Pretty Khaki" Gap ad with Sarah Jessica Parker singing "I Enjoy Being a Girl"? I don't particularly like the Gap's clothes, but that commercial so darn cute! If only it weren't 30 degrees and snowy outside, I too would put on a pink shirt, khakis, and dance around with flowers.

Sorry, that's not an actual movie - just a screenshot. The movie is here:

I know- that's why I had the smiley faces. (Also I've been really sarcastic this morning) Thank you for the link.

Am I the only one who doesn't think SJP is attractive? I feel guilty about this because from what I've heard/read she seems like a really nice person. But she just doesn't pass my "Tori Spelling Test" **

**Asking oneself "would I want to have this person's fabulous body if I had to take her face as well?"

No. She looked better before all the SATC/"fashion icon" nuttiness. The bob she had at one point was hideous.

I agree that she's not what's considered classically attractive, but I think that's part of why I like her. She's got an interesting face, and hasn't tried to change it to fit Hollywood's mold (much like Barbara Streisand).

I love Sarah Jessica and the girls even though many people I know make fun of them and all the SATC hype. I bought a pair of cute pink mocassins in the Gap the other day and never heard the end of it from my boyfriend who kept saying "the only reason you bought them is so you can look like Carrie". No, I bought them cuz I like them so STFU!!! I do think the commerical is cute though. I don't shop there too much though (or anywhere these days really) due to limited funds unfortunately.

I love gap. I have worked for the company (Old Navy, Gap, Gap Kids) for 5 years. The discounts are great. I can't leave them behind. Right now I only work 5 hours a week. But I get 20% at Old Navy and 30% at Gap and Banana Republic.

I agree. I think her personality adds to her beauty too. I like that sassy cute girly girl thing. Only she could get away with singing "I enjoy being a girl". Her hair looks great...much better than in the new Nutrisse commercial...she can't do brunette.

I always love GAP commercials. I think SJP looks amazing in these spring pretty khaki commercials, too. Even my fiance and coworkers (who all say she looks like a horse) think she looks great in them. This commercial makes me want to run on the street wearing pink and khaki and throw flowers

I got so sucked in by the commercial that I bought the blazer and the pants she wears towards the end! Granted, they haven't been tailored to *perfectly* fit my body like they did to hers before filming but once I see my tailor they will be the right length. Cute line this spring which surprised me since I haven't found anything that impressive there for a long time.

Gap Inc is doing alot to adjust their lines to fit the population. I remember a few years ago some of the stuff that was there was very edgy. Gap is supposed to be about classics and wardrobe staples. The mix and match vibe they are using right now is great.

They are apparently launching a new store that gears to women who are a bit "older".
