Another alcohol death added

Nov. 19, 2004 - Steven Judd, a NM State student, died after a night of binge drinking with his Delta Chi fraternity brothers to celebrate his 21st birthday.

This is the eleventh alcohol campus death we've heard of this school year. Eight or nine of them were GLO members, including several 21st birthday celebrations.

Two and a half months of classes and parties left.

The (second) New Mexico State student referred to by mmcat was pronounced dead and taken off life support. So much for "Power Hour" "celebrations" where the very real danger of alcohol poisoning is ignored. See the article:

I don't know if this should be added to the alcohol-related deaths count, or if that thread is restricted to Greeks only.

On Saturday, The New York Times had an article on the "power hour" and what bars are trying to do to stop it.
