Smile Conversations with Tom

I can officially say I had my first Earpish conversation this weekend. Talk about a character... Perhaps the most odd twist of this conversation was when Tom and I found out we were related...quite the twist of fate if you ask me. **(Insert witty comments about how sorry you feel here)**

OK, enough rambling....does anyone else enjoy that random phone call from Tom? I sure as h*ll did...I was sitting in my house watching a movie and my house phone (which collects dust) rang...I got ready to give my standard telemarketer speech until I heard "Hey its the Earpman" I just had to giggle like schoolgirl at that point...especially since the voice was nothing like I had imagined in my Pennstlytuckian brain...

I guess the moral of this rambling is random phone calls from Tom are fun...

Once I added up the minutes on my phone bill and they came to 840, which is 14 hours for just one month. And that was just me calling Tom - he calls me more often! So estimating a total of 30+ hours, that averages out to an hour each day!

More than a couple times, we've talked almost 5 hours at a stretch and still weren't finished. He's the only individual I've had to buy a special phone to accommodate. I call it the EarpPhone. Portable and hands free so I can make dinner and cocktails, wash the dishes, hit the head, surf ebay, read e-mails, and take notes without missing a beat.

No conversation is complete without at least one "oh you f---ing moron!!!!" and eventually ending with "love ya, bro, Bye-Bye".

How are you related???

ZAX,
Jono

We found out that we are related through President Andrew Johnson (the one who was impeached)...I'm not sure of Tom's relation to Pres. Johnson, but Johnson is my great, great, great, great, great grandfather on my mother's side...

Weird...

Matt
