Lightbulb SAT Word Thread

When I was in high school, we reffered to certain words as "SAT words." We all know what they are.

So, here's the deal. When you hear, or think of such a word, look it up at dictionary.com or webster.com, or in a printed dictionary, and post it with its definition.
