As Fall Semester Approaches...
Hello to all of my fellow Sisterfriends. As this Fall semester quickly approaches, remember that we're on a journey to be accepted into and to reach sisterhood into the illustrious sorority of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. We shouldn't be worried. We should be eagerly anticipating that day when we aren't just called, when we are chosen like the many that came before us. This year may not be the year for all of us, or even most, but we must remember that becoming a member of DST definitely has to be worth the wait. I just wanted to share my optimism with you all and if you all have any positive scriptures or affirmations please feel free to share them with us all. I'll start with mine, I know mine may seem corny but here it is:
"If It Is To Be, It's Up to Me!"
Also to the Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta, if you all have any sayings that you used to use for guidance when you were a prospective, please feel free to share with us.

I am not an undergrad going back to school, but as a prospect I wish you all good luck on you pursuit.
To those seeking memebership into a graduate chapter, if the chapter is having intake soon, good luck! If the chapter is not having intake, be patient. I have been waiting since 1999 and I am not sure if 2001-2002 will be my time, but I am and have been very patient.
Good Luck and God Bless everyone!!!!

Just wanted to send out a good luck shout to all the interests. I look forward to next Spring to hear all of the updates. And I know how you all are feeling as well, but stay focused. I'm also here if you need me.

Well, I'm about to slaughter a phrase for my own purposes, but
luck is 70% perspiration, 20% timing, 10% providence, so let's try to make our own this year!

The most beautiful thing in the world is, precisely, the conjunction of learning and inspiration.

I also want to piggy-back off of everything that has been said thus far.
Good luck and God speed to all my fellow prospects. While I won't have that oportunity any time soon, I know that God has a plan for me, and he has one for all of you as well. I feel such a comraderie with ALL of you, and I know that as long as you all stay dedicated and optimistic, you WILL reach your goal. As the fall semester ensues, you are all in my prayers.
