Sisterhood Week
I heard that a school (I forgot which one) had done a sisterhood week where two sororities team up and plan an event for all chapters to participate. It is a week long and is supposed to bring unity. Has anyone tried something similiar, and how did it go?

Thats a real good Idea.
While I was serving as Panh. VP ( we had 3 sororities) we would have panhellenic nights. Where all 3 of us would go to Football games, Basketball, etc intramurals, theatrical performance etc. This has worked really well and at the end of the spring, in the middle of greek row we would have our annual Crawfish boil/ fish fry.

Other Panhel Activity ideas
The chapter that I currently advise has Panhellenic progressive dinners where each house provides one course of a meal and the chapter members move from house to house between courses. There are also combined social events between specific sororities and the all Greek formal.

Northern Arizona University used to do a week just like that (I am not sure if they still run it that way)... But anyways, it was fun... We would try to do some laid back activities like sign making or an ice cream social or what not... Then we would end the week (or begin it depending on how things were run with a movie night)... Now I don't mean watching a dvd... panhellenic would rent out a movie theater and each women would pay $2 to go see the movie... Usually we would pick whatever cute chick flic type movie, but it was always fun... And it worked out well only paying $2 to see a movie, and if enough women are going panhellenic was shelling out little money...

We usually have sorority relations with one other sorority, just things like hanging out and watching Sex and the City, or pumpkin carving around Halloween. Earlier this year every sorority was supposed to send 10 girls up to Kennywood for the night. Only 4 sororities participated I think, probably because it was a Friday night. I went though and had tons of fun. Who doesn't wanna ride rides for free??

Next semester, our Panhellenic is planning on having all-Panhellenic socials once a month. They would consist of watching a movie, having dinner, or a spa party or something fun like that. They would rotate between each chapters' house. Example: February- Spa Party @ Alpha Phi, March- The OC @ Delta Gamma. I'm looking forward to it since I'm all about Panhellenic spirit.
