Hi everyone!
I was just gonna let you all know that we had our very first anchorman contest last week and it was a HUGE success!! To any of you whose chapter doesnt do it should certianly look into it. Its so much fun.
We had 20 contestants and three portions. THe first was question and answer. They got to pick a question out ahead of time and then prepare an answer. There were basically just silly questions like "what is your dream date?" and then answers like "any date with a DG would be a dream." but the guys got really creative so it was awesome. The second part was dress like a DG. We provided outfits and they went crazy, entertaining to say the least. The last part was lip syncing. We played a song and they did about 40 seconds of it. Some guys didnt want to lip sync, so one danced, and one read a poem which was AMAZING!
The poem ended something like " DGs are my heart, it is true. And if you dont believe me, cut my arm and see, I bleed bronze pink and blue" lol
anyway we picked two anchorman, the guy that read the poem, but he graduates next month so the runner up who is a Sig Ep here and does a lot for our chapter by PR, will take over in January. Anyways it a lot of fun, just though I'd share!
