Who is winning so far?
This is so we can all be monday night Quarterbacks and post who is leading minute by minute.
A definite thread for nail biters.

If Kerry loses Florida and either PA and/or OH, he's done.

Florida is important, but Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Wisconsin are also important swing states.

That map is making WAY too many assumptions!!
Currently, Bush has Florida, and Ohio & Michigan are looking his, too.

Yeah its not looking good in Florida, Kerry is down by like a quarter million votes with over 50 percent reporting. Thats not even close.
Does anyone remember how things played out last year? Is it possible that Kerry can oull out the state?

i don't think you can put ohio and michigan in the bush category just yet, considering there is less than 10% of the precints reporting in ohio and less than 5% in michigan.

If Michigan goes Bush, I'm moving.
Seriously, outstate Michigan, the smaller areas which can count votes quickly will report first and they are Republican. The city of Detroit, which is Democratic, still had people voting up to a half hour ago because the lines were so long with record turnout. Our local exit polls are predicting Kerry in the lead at 50% to Bush at 47%
Dee
ETA: I really thought they would be more cautious in calling things this year, but I too have seen them calling someone a winner, despite having only 1% of the vote in, and the OTHER person in the lead.
