I'm watching the View right now, and I'm sorry but Cowboy Couture is the UGLIEST thing. Some of these outfits are nice, but who wears red and silver sequined cowboy boots with a very pretty pink dress? Or ORANGE JEWELED CHAPS?????

that crap is not cowboy fashion. That is "look at me, i'm a Yankee or a carpet-bagger who thinks that Cowboys are A-OK and want to look like one"
That also goes for people that are from the south but wear those hideous Garth Brooks type shirts and go line dancing.
I have a lot of friends that either raised cattle or showed livestock and i guarantee that none of them had red-sequined anything. (unless they were on the drill team at school)
i'm sure there's a fabulous cowboy out there who is tired of sewing sequins to the boots himself. i can't imagine a girl sporting that gear, except on Halloween. i can imagine the red sequined boots are the magical ticket back to Kansas.
i agree with Aggie's observation on the line dancers that dawn those Garth-esque western shirts. they're just as bad as 'cowboy couture', just not as shiny.
Well, the idea for "Rhinestone Cowboy" had to come from somewhere.
Flame me if you want, but I like to wear wild articles of clothing so I would probably do it...even though the rest of my family wears "real" western attire (we show horses) and would probably fall over laughing. I love to entertain.
